A man has opened fire in a nursery in the city of Ulyanovsk, Russia, leaving at least three dead among which are two children and their teacher, then commit suicide, as local media have learned. At the moment the ages of the minors are unknown, although they are children between three and six years old. According to the Russian agency TASS, the event may have been triggered after a “domestic conflict”, but the investigators continue working to clarify what happened. According to the Telegram channel “Asset” who maintains links with the Russian security services, the man was armed with a shotgun registered in the name of a local resident 68 years old, although the shooter appeared to be much younger. This is not an isolated case in the country, since in recent years there have been similar attacks happened in a school in the city of Kazan and in a university in Perm, something that has led to a debate on the tightening of laws regulating the use of weapons in Russia.
