A year after the launch of the Sharp Aquos R6 with a photo sensor of 1 inch developed in conjunction with leicaSharp announces the new Aquos R7 with new processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and a slight redesign.
The screen of this new Sharp Aquos R7 is 6.6-inch with OLED Pro IGZO panel and FullHD+ resolution. This screen offers an impressive 2000 nits maximum brightness and has a variable refresh rate of up to 240Hz, 10-bit color and Dolby Vision. On the back we find this 47 MP main camera with 1 inch probe capable of capturing up to 1.8 times more than the previous model. This great sensor is accompanied by another for portraits of 1.9 MP. The front camera is like a hole in the screen and is 12.6 MP.
The phone is covered in Gorilla Glass Victus on the front and back to offer more resistance, it is also IP68 certified to make it resistant to water and dust. It has a single configuration of 12 GB RAM memory and 256 GB storage, inside it has a 5,000mAh battery. This new Sharp Aquos R7 will be available in July in Japan, and this is the bad news, that It doesn’t look like it’s going to get out of this market. The manufacturer has not specified a price for this new model either.
