Red Hot Chili Peppers #1 on the UK Album Chart with ‘Unlimited Love’

The American group Red Hot Chili Peppers with Unlimited love, their twelfth studio album, has just achieved, with the data of its release week, its fifth number 1 on the British album chart. A position that they had already visited with ‘By the way’ (2002), ‘Live in Hyde Park’ (2004), ‘Stadium arcadium’ (2006) and ‘I’m with you’ (2011). It also starts at the top of the vinyl classification. Without more direct entries to the top 10, the podium positions are completed by Ed Sheeran with = in the second step and Olivia Rodrigo with Sour in the third. In the British singles chart there is also a single direct entry to the top 10 and number 1 , in this case for Harry Styles with As it was, the first preview of his third solo album, ‘Harry’s house’, in circulation as of May 20. It is his second lead in this ranking aside from One Direction, with the best opening week of 2022 so far, with a combined 94,000 units. The song recorded 10.5 million streams in the UK between April 1 and April 7. After spending his first four weeks in the pole position, Dave with Starlight drops to second place. Aitch and Ashanti with Baby round out the top 3.
