One Piece Odyssey Video Game Announced
bandai namco officially announced a new video game based on one piece, the great work of Eiichiro Oda. under the title of One Piece OdysseyEast RPG with turn-based combat of the straw hat saga will be available in 2022 for Playstation 5, Playstation 4, xbox series and pc.
Unveiled on the One Piece News Live, the game will be developed by ILCA (Pokémon Shining Diamond/Shining Pearl, Dragon Quest XI, Tales of Arise) and will be part of the celebrations of the 25th anniversary of the franchise. Its argument will be original and canon story, under the supervision of Oda, and will take a turn from the genre of previous titles. Choosing the role-playing mode with turn-based battles, Odyssey will allow us explore an island in the middle of nowhere and fight countless monstersas well as gathering information from the islanders about how the crew of the Thousand Sunny ended up in this place.
The One Piece manga has been running on the pages of the magazine Weekly Shonen Jump since 1997already accumulating a total of 102 compiled volumes in the Japanese market. It is not just another series, but rather an icon of otaku culture that is already in the Hall of Fame of manga history. Apart from holding the title of best selling series in manga historyhas other milestones such as being a finalist for the Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize from 2000 to 2002, grand prize winner at the 41st Japan Cartoonists Association Award in 2012, and Kumamoto Prefectural Honorary Award holder in 2018.

Eiichiro Oda’s original manga is published in Spain by comic planet, being published the first 98 volumes of the work.
