Intel plans to launch its desktop graphics cards during the second quarter of this year

Recently the presentation of the Intel Arc GPUs took place, a presentation that left us with more questions than answers regarding the appearance of these graphics cards for desktop computers. Similarly, the availability of laptops with these GPUs was fair, making even reviews by independent media difficult.

However, as we can read on Overclock3D, Intel’s earnings call has seen the company’s CEO, Pat Gelsinger, has confirmed that the desktop SKUs of Intel ARC graphics cards will arrive during the second quarter of the yearproviding some margin within which to wait for this release.

In the video on these lines it was already confirmed that Intel’s dedicated graphics cards were going to arrive this summer, but it definitely provides a more closed window to look forward to its release, because summer technically starts in the middle of June, so putting these two pieces of information together, it is quite possible that the launch of these cards will take place in the second half of June 2022.

However, this is still conjecture, since there may be delays for many reasons, as well as the possibility of an early launch before the summer itself.
